Hello all.

I have a PIC16f648A, how would I be able to hook this up to a 74HC4511 to control a 7segment display? I want to use the driver because it will save some lines for future connections.

My goal here is to get it hooked up and write some code to display any number I want it to.

Do a web search for: 74HC4511 PIC schematic

Doing that, gives this Sparkfun page:
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=735

They have two schematics you can download. The 2nd one shows
the HC4511 chips driving the ULN2003A chips, which drive the segments.
