ucos-II RTOS porting....need help
PostPosted: Mon Aug 21, 2006 7:47 pm     Reply with quote

Hello All,
I am in a situation of porting ucos-II RTOS to MPLAB C18 compiler. I have the MPLAB IDE allready installed.
1)How will I integerate this compiler into MPLAB.
2)After integerating this complier, how will I port ucos rtos into the complier. There are information on this, but not very clear for a beginner like me. Where can I find an AN. Have somebody ported ucos-II.

This is getting quiet tough, because after reading documents on porting, I realized that I have to change code on the OS level header files etc etc. I am interested, but I am getting no where.

I kindly ask some expert advice. Please help with code sample or completed project, so that I could start from there.
One more thing. I also have a salvo rtos full version. If somebody has ported salvo to MPLAB c18 compiler, I would like have some info about that also. I am using 18f8722 for my project.

Did you know that the C18 compiler has its own forum ? It's here:

You should ask C18 questions on the C18 forum.
