Converting LCD code from Pic16F76 to pic16f876

I need a 10 bit ADC so I thought I would update to a PIC16f876. But now my display does not work, it is blank.. I tried to use pic18f2520 also with the same results.. When I use the pic16f76 everything works great.. Any Ideas?

RB1 - RB4 are data lines,
RC5 is R. Select
RC6 is R/W
RB7 is LCD+
RC7 is LCD Enable
