MPLAB 7.41 with PCB
PostPosted: Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:46 pm     Reply with quote

Ok so I own a license for PCM, and have been faithfully using it under MPLAB, all good. so now I see that PCB is avail with 7.41, so I did the MPLAB upgrade but don't have access to PCB for 12bit devices, PCB is unpacked in the third party drivers area, and I have PCM installed in an upper level directory that MPLAB knows about in the executable link. Is it one or the other, or am I missing somthing?

I worked it out, its all in the installation...
make sure they both (PCB & PCM) install in the same directory.
the main difference between them is in the DLL dir PCB == pcb.dll, PCM == pcm.dll.
now I can swap between 12bit and 14bit devices in MPLAB>>Configure>>Select device.
