Hi !

I looking the good way to control the brightness on each LED conected to the output of 74595 ? individualy ?

I need to control 4 x 74595 ( 32 LED )

you need to use PWM.. pulse width modulation

the outputs can only be on or off at a time, so the trick is to let tem off for some time and on.. the ratio between on/(off+on) is called duty cicle, and defines the bright... of course toff+ton must be a very short time, like 1/60 sec.
