hi forum!

i was programming a 16f877A. i tried to use a 18f4525 and i am unable do use it.

the equipment is provided by my uni. hardware is MPLAB ICD2 and the demoboard. software i am using is mplab IDE. i upraded to the v7.40. and i use the ccs plugin. it is the version 3.207 .

when i try to compile an error occurs "The extended CPU Mode configuration bit is enabled, but the program that was loaded was not built using CPU instructions."


how can i solve this?

any ideas?
