PostPosted: Fri Apr 28, 2006 8:10 pm     Reply with quote

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me:

1. how to calculate max i/o speed of a pic?

2. what is the relation between pic crystal speed and max i/o speed?
e.g. if i use a pic16f84-04 and pic16f84-20, what is the different max i/o speed between them?

thanks!

yours pcmguy,

Most instructions are single cyle. The cycle time is 1/4 the operating frequency. At 20MHz the operating speed is 5 times that of 4MHz.
