how can i pass a PIN as parameter of functions ?

hello everybody..
im trying to pass a pin as parameter of a function but it is not working..

the part of code is:

boolean LeTecla (const Pino)
{
   int EsperaTecla = 50;
   boolean EsperaFlag = FALSE;

   while (! input (Pino))
   {
      EsperaTecla--;

      if (! EsperaTecla)
      {
         EsperaFlag = TRUE;
         break;
      }

      else EsperaFlag = FALSE;
   }

   return EsperaFlag;

}


that time ive tried with const type, but i already tried with int, char, unsigned int, unsigned char.. and all those types didnt work.

somebody help me.

there´s a way to use the value passed (pin value) with input our output built in functions ????
