ICD Bulk Erase warning
PostPosted: Tue Oct 05, 2004 4:48 am     Reply with quote

Is there anyway to disable the WARNING : Code protect fuses can only be erased using bulk errase command. Bulk errase only operates on targets with 5v VDD. Do you want to continue anyway?

I am using the U40 which apparently can't read the targets Vdd, so flashs up this message when I try and program using the ICD Control Program V2.12. What would be a nice touch is a "don't display this message again check box" or have I missed a configuration somewhere?

I agree. Click Advanced then Options and uncheck the two warning statements. I posted this question in the ICD forum last week.

Thanks. Got it now! I never noticed the options menu item before!

ha!

I have probably spent 2 hours over the past 2 years trying to find that option.

I agree they should put a checkbox to disable that message in the future.
