Bootloader through i2c
PostPosted: Wed Mar 15, 2006 9:23 am     Reply with quote

Hello All,

I am new in this topic (dynamic firmware upgrade); I need some help with this.

I see a lot of examples that make a FW upgrade using rs-232. I need to make a FW upgrade using i2c, does any knows how I can implement it? If you can share any implementation will be appreciated.

Another question: Since I want to ship my application and the Boot loader, it is possible to create both codes files in the same HEX file (install one file only in manufacturing lines)? Or I need to write the boot loader first, and second download my application through i2c.
Can any body explain me what are the steps to ship my application and the boot loader (may be two scenarios are here)?

Any help will be appreciated.
