Newbie in MPLAB....error while compile

When i try a compile the sample code provided
there is error show
" Access violation at address 000000000. Read of address 000000000. "

i try on all the sample
all show the same

Read this recent thread. Apparently, you need to email CCS support
and request a new license file (assuming that you have some time
left on your maintenance agreement or on your original purchase)

Also, can I ask you a question that I have always wondered about ?
Why do some people refer to MPLAB as "MPLAP" (with a P on the end) ?

I just want to use this software for my school project
is that MPLAB release education version or trial version so i can complete my project?

by the way..sorry for wrong type its MPLAB not MPLAP ... :P

I'm not completely sure what you have or what you want.

CCS has a compiler demo, but it's limited to only three types of PICs and
only 2K of ROM usage. The demo comes with the CCS IDE.

The Microchip MPLAB IDE is free, but you need to add a C compiler to it.
It only includes an assembler for free.

There is a free student edition of the Microchip C18 compiler.
