3V LCD?
PostPosted: Fri Feb 10, 2006 2:25 am     Reply with quote

Is there a 3V replacement LCD assembly to replace the one that comes from CCS? Would be nice if a reflective version. I know that the driver chip can be obtained that works with 3 Volts.

Have a look at the modules from SOS electronics. I have used their 3.3v character modules in the past with a PIC. Whether there is one that is exactly compatible with the unit you want, I don't know.

Hi Ttelmah,

Could you expand on SOS Electronics a little. A search for SOS Electronics didn't yield anything appropriate.

Thanks,

www.sos.sk

They were one of the very few suppliers I could find when I was looking, who offered completely 3.3v solutions.

Best Wishes
