convert from hex data to Intel hex- for loading ext eeprom
PostPosted: Wed Jan 18, 2006 3:47 pm     Reply with quote

I have been working on this for awhile and am finding some trouble with supposedly simple things.
I start with an analog sound wav file and convert this to hex using this
software (available here: http://home.comcast.net/~earl-admin/wav2dvr.htm ).

I want to program an eeprom with this hex data file (1500 lines or so of hex numbers) but find that PonyProg will only pass a file in Intel Hex format. How can I get my data file into the memory. Is there a software that I can use to enter the "fields" to make my file Intel hex?
I know that others on this forum have successfully programmed an eeprom with data. But how? I'm pretty clueless so the more details the better...
Thanks in advance-
Sophi

Thanks-
Yes it is, but I get errors when I run it.

Now I'm using WinHex. It works perfectly.
