hello...

does anyone here know which pic16f877a package that can operate with 3.3v suply and i/o level at 3.3volts? i have a problem interfacing pic with rf txrx chip that i've bought since the chip operates at 3.3v and can only receive signal at that level... suggestion anyone?

The LF series of PICs operate at low voltages. There are 18LF452 and 18LF4520, which should be pin-for-pin compatible with 16F887.

You can add a simple voltage divider or a 5V-tolerant buffer, which will convert 5V ot 3.3V.

Go to http://www.digikey.com/ and search for: 16LF877A
They stock four package types for the LF version.
The LF version has a maximum speed of 10 MHz at 3.3 volts.
