Processor directive question |

In looking at the processor directive, 16F877A.h, the pins are defined by a two digit number. I have looked at the processor data sheet and cannot find the relationship between such statements as:
PIN_A0 40
What does the 40 refer too? When writing the code, I assume that one could use the number 40 in place of the PIN_A0 tykpe of statements. Also what type of number is the 40? Hex, decimal,....?
Thanks,

A number is decimal, unless specified otherwise.
The pin numbers used in CCS, are the port address of the pin, times eight, plus the bit number. So '40', implies that pin A0, is bit 0, of register address 5.
