HELP!!! Missing 18F4550.h header file

Im trying to run the ex_usb_hid.c example with the PIC18F4550 but i cant locate the header file. If someone could post it I would greatly appreciate it.

No one is going to do that. It is included with the compiler. If you don't have it then chances are your compiler doesn't support that chip. Search the forum for a better explanation.

Email or phone CCS. They will tell you if you must upgrade to use that chip.

- Microchip ships several new processor models each year.
- The compiler needs to be enhanced to support these new models.
- Someone has to pay the wages of the CCS personnel.

That's why they introduced a support model: you pay a small fee and get free compiler upgrades for a year.
If you don't want to pay for the new processor support, then stick with the older processer types but don't ask here for files that you didn't pay for.
