Need help on Timer 1:Newbie

hi,

im a newbie to pic and need to start timer upon an event. Have used C30 earlier but have done this by hardware registers instead. How to start stop timer using the CCS built functions. Plz guide since im a newbie

Learn to use the CCS manual, the Help file, the example files, and the
PIC data sheet, and the forum archives to find the answers.

If you look in the example file, EX_FREQC.C, it has a line of code
and a comment that shows how to stop timer 1 with a CCS function.
Look in this folder to find the file: c:\Program Files\Picc\Examples
