C:\Program Files\PICC\Examples and schematics

Hi all,

I am almost new to CCS Picc Compiler.Hope someone can help me.I have installed the compiler and found the examples directory under C:\Program Files\PICC\Examples.There are a lot of useful applications there.I would like to install a keypad and a LCD display so I want to use EX_LCDKB.C file.However, when I open it, in the description it is written that "Configure the CCS prototype card as follows: Plug in both the LCD and KEYPAD" so do I have to buy the prototype card in order to implement those examples?

If no, how would be the pin connections of an LCD and keypad combination for that example file.Where can I find a schematic of it?

I am looking forward to hearing.Thank you in advance...

If you go here, you can download the User's Guide for the Microchip
PicDem2-Plus board. It has several pages of schematics near the end
of the document.

Then if you go here, you'll find Mark's modified KBD.C driver, which
works with the LCD connections that are shown in the PicDem2-Plus manual.
