USB descriptor
PostPosted: Tue Aug 30, 2005 9:37 pm     Reply with quote

Hi..I have succefully run the CCS example program for USB using
18F4550. In this example there are two variables PIC is sending to PC.
And two variables that PIC can receive from PC. So total four variable.

Now I want to modify that:
I want to send only one variable from PIC to PC. For testing let say
the variable is of 8bit. But after that I may require to send 10bits of
data or variable from PIC to PC.

As per I understand, I require to modify in the usb_desc_hid.h file
only.
(1) Is there any other file, I require to change?
(2) What exactly I require to change? I tried to change the descriptor
file but it is not working. Anybody know, at what places I have to
modify to do the above job.

Any idea appreciated.......

For PC side I used the driver from Trace Systems Inc.
i.e. www.tracesystemsinc.com

It is not eary to write this code on PC side ourselves. Try driver
like this.
