ICDU40 how to prevent debugger clearing Data EEPROM ?

Using ICD40 with CCS IDE (V3.232) and ICDU40 after loading the code all previous values saved in the on chip Data EEPROM are cleared (0XFF)

Is there a setting to prevent clearing the data eeprom ?
