PIC C Pwm
PostPosted: Mon Aug 29, 2005 1:09 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,

What exactly is special about the SETUP_POWER_PWM() function that CCS provides? Is there any additional documentation to what is in the manual?
I do not understand how to use all the parameters (e.g. the pwm_div_4 etc.)

I am trying to create a 220hz PWM signal with a variable duty cycle. I am using a PIC16F876 with a 4 mhz crystal.

Help would be much appreciated.

The power pwm functions don't work on the 16F877A.
Use the ordinary PWM functions with that PIC.

To use the power pwm functions, you need to use the PCH compiler,
and select a PIC such as the 18F4431.
