I don't have any in Eage but I have them in PDF. Here is a link to a design using an RTL8019AS

http://www.compsys1.com/support/webdev/webdev.pdf

There should be a Microchip app note for the PICDEM.NET showing about the same thing.

I have a Microchip schematic using the ENC28J60 in PCAD.

Are samples available yet?

I can't seem to find any.

Depends on who you know. If you try and sample them from the website, then you probably won't be able to get them just yet. I've had some for quite a while. Since I work for a very big company, I tend to get things very soon because everyone wants to get their "foot in the door".

FYI - I have just started playing with the ENC28J60. It is a lot more power hungry than the Realtek chip. If anyone has an operational implementation I would be interested in knowing if you implemented the output circuitry as per the datasheet or if you have an alternative implementation.

I haven't had the time to try mine out yet. I did mine based on a schematic from Microchip. Email me and I'll reply back with the schematic I got from them.
