Hello,

I am developping a project with CCS-PCM v3.219 (under Mplab). I am using pic 16f877a. I am just beginning my program just a couples of variables and one goblal string of 16 carac. and with the memory usage gauge of MPlab I saw 1025 bytes of data memory are used and the max is of course 368.

How can you explain that?

Thanks for your help

Dan

What does the memory size information at the top of the .lst file say?. This should really be your guide.
MPLab may well be getting confused.
