Does anybody have any code and a pinout setup using a 628 and a hitachi LCD? I am trying to get this to work, but since I have no idea what I'm doing, it's not going anywhere.

This board would not be the first source for newbies like you.
This is related to CCS C compiler and PIC Microcontrollers only.

Regarding your question, try searching in the web for info and forums to learn all the
hardware issues. I also would suggest you to find out a good book to learn from.
Once you know how to do your stuff, post the complete idea and full code and I'm
sure you will get full support and a lot of helps in this forum.
