The "button" function?
PostPosted: Tue Jun 21, 2005 2:26 am     Reply with quote

When we have a built-in function like "button" of PicBasic or MicroC?
In this forum there are many debouncing functions but I have not seen any with the characteristics of PicBasic and MicroC.

Thanks

In the following page, they have translated PicBasic functions to ASM
code, with routines in both Microchip and Parallax format.
In just a few minutes, I was able to translate 90% of the Button
function ASM code into CCS C. Most of it can be translated upon
inspection. 90% of it doesn't take any thought. However, I think
it would take a bit more work to translate it into a clean, usable,
general purpose routine for CCS. It could be done.
