hello everybody.! Any suggestion for unused ports? Shall i remain it floating or do i have to connect it to gnd?

The cheapest and most convenient way is to leave unused pins dangling, and you have to drive them as outputs. Doesn't matter if you put a '0' or 1' on each bit independently. That's what i always do.

The Microchip FAE answered this question to me once and said i had a choice of doing the above or terminating each pin with a pullup resistor or pulldown resistor and configuring the TRIS pins as inputs.

So youve got your choice.
