16F88 Comparator Module VRef

On the 16F88 if the voltage reference CVROE bit is set and the vref is output to the RA2/AN2/CVRef/VRef- pin, and the Comparator Module is configured for mode 6, is the internal vref used?

See this thread. You must use Mode 2 if you want to use the internal Vref.

This is shown in the datasheet in section 14.0, page 127, first paragraph.
