i am using a pch version 3.184 ccs complier. i am trying to add a new device pic18f2480 by modifying 18f248.h and the error that i recieve is "*** Error 24 "C:\PROGRA~1\PICC\devices\18f2480.h" Line 2(9,19): Unknown device type "PIC18F2480"". how can i fix this?

the compiler doesn't know about the chip, you have to upgrade your compiler
