I believe that most of the OSD devices like the STV5730A have been discontinued.
I would like to create an OSD unit without using any of these devices.

Can anyone tell me how to go about it???
Or perhaps have sample code for me...

Hi,

If OSD = "On Screen Display" then take a look at the last two issues of Nuts and Volts magazine for a construction article that uses a PIC for this purpose.
