printing output to an external file
PostPosted: Wed Apr 20, 2005 5:41 pm     Reply with quote

i am trying to print to a file located external to my pic- i have the serial i/o cable hooked up to my computer and the SERIAL PORT MONITOR is working fine, so i am not having trouble interfacing.

anyway- i would like to print results to a .txt or .csv (or similar) file on my computer's drive.

any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

John

Get yourself a terminal program that will capture to a file. Hyperterminal has the option.
