Using PORT A while also using ADC
PostPosted: Fri Feb 18, 2005 10:40 am     Reply with quote

Hi, I'm using the ADC on port A0, and I also want to output on the other bits of port A. Is this possible? I notice if I set tris A to anything, then it will screw up the ADC. Thanks

Read the datasheet. Look under the Analog to Digital convertor section. It will show you what combination of Analog and Digital you can have. You didn't specify what pic but for the ones that I know, yes you can.
