read low voltage AC
PostPosted: Fri Feb 04, 2005 6:09 pm     Reply with quote

Hello:
I would like to measure the AC voltage 16mV AC to 2V AC with ADC of 16F876.
Any idea to convert this low voltage of 16mVAC to a DC and now read with ADC.
This is to read a TI transformer.

Thanks

Look at Opamp circuits for a "precision rectifier".

Ya, what PCM said.

The LM124/324 Datasheets from National Semi have a few examples of rectifiers with op-amps.
