Sorry for the off topic question, but I hope someone can help me ...

For a product under development, I am looking for a supplier of "small"
aluminum extruded enclosures. Any lead ???

You can probably order them from these two major US mail-order
distributors:

Go to the Digikey website and type in: aluminum enclosures
Also select the "in stock" box.

Mouser doesn't have a very good search engine. But here's the page:
