How to read temperature using the DS1621 and PIC167877 ?
PostPosted: Thu Jan 20, 2005 11:33 am     Reply with quote

Readers,
The example program EX_TEMP.C from CCS reads tempreature using the DS1621 chip and sends the data to RS232. Does anyone have a connection diagram of DS1621 chip with PIC167877? I wish CCS provided some documentation for the examples that they give out with the C compiler.

Regards,
AL

They tell you in the document which pin is SDA and which is SDL. What more do you need except that and the datasheet for the DallasSemi part? Question

Don't forget the pull-up resistors on the I2C lines.
