Hi..!!!

Has somebody used a version control system(SourceSafe)with MPLAB?
I have got the MPLAB 6.60 version and I would like to use Microsoft Source Safe.
Is it reliable?or does it cause problems?

Thankx

I use SourceSafe for everything including PC software in development, documentation, schematics and netlist files, BOMs, PIC software, etc. It works fine but I only use the basic features as it is all I need. I have never had even the slightest problem.

Even VSS v6 doens't have remote checkin/out but there is a great product called VSSConnect that extends the functionality of VSS to do this very well. I have mulitple people using VSSConnect into my VSS database.
