CCP2B3 fuse on 18F242

The data sheet says that the CCP2 module can be multiplexed with the B3 pin. I thought you could use the B2 pin INSTEAD of C1 for the CCP2 module. Am I wrong and it uses both at the same time? I seem to be seeing interaction on the C1 pin when I SETUP_CCP2.

According to the data sheet, you can select either pin RC1 or RB3
to be the CCP2 pin.

CCS has two fuses settings which allow you to select the pin for CCP2:

Use fuse CCP2C1 to select RC1.

Use fuse CCP2B3 to select RB3.
