MPLAB and watch windows
PostPosted: Wed Nov 17, 2004 9:50 am     Reply with quote

Went to a microchip seminar last week. The presenters at the seminar where able to display all the members of a structure and variables of an entire array in the watch window. I have yet to be able to do this. All I can get is the first member. The presenters where using Microchips C compiler. Has anyone been able to do the above using the CCS compiler?

Mark,..What was the ICD and IDE you used.

I have MPLAB & pcwh.exe & ICD-U40 and ICD2.

Which combination was used in your example?

I use the ICD2 and also the ICE2000. However, it doesn't matter the debugging tool, MPLAB show the struct in the watch window no matter what tool I select. Make sure you have COFF format selected
