Is Cut and Paste Fixed in PCW?
PostPosted: Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:06 pm     Reply with quote

I reported (a couple of times!) how Ctrl-C and Ctrl-X don't always work and when you press Ctrl-V whatever was on the clipboard from some prior operation is pasted.... (*very* annoying!!). Sometimes the editor gets in a mode and starts doing this and basically must be rebooted to stop it. You can fix it once by Using Edit-Copy and then Ctrl-V works.

Has this been fixed in verisons later than 3.1.91?

Thanks

I posted on this long ago.... No one responded with the same problem. Is it just us two? One guy responded saying his worked great all day. Ctrl-C works maybe 50% of the time for me. I have 3.207 on Windows 2000 Professional and it still does it.

P.S. I have never had any problems with CTRL-X.....

I had problems with cut and paste a year or more ago, but since I ditched WindowsME and switched to XP I haven't had any problems. I've used 3.190 since it was released, and have never had a problem. I used 3.212 all this past weekend on a new project and again didn't have any problems.
