Watch Window
PostPosted: Wed Oct 06, 2004 5:19 am     Reply with quote

When I wanna watch a variable, I put it into the watch window.
And in the 'value' tab I see 'Reserved memory' or 'Restricted memory'
What does it mean and how can I handle it?
Thank you

And also I do not manage to declare a variable more then 1 byte.
if I declare a variable as long for example, I sea only 1 byte in the watch window.

MPLAB 6.60
Now it is ok, the problem was the variable 'temp' couldnt be more then a byte. I do not know why. But other variable is alright.
Now how that union definition really help me?
I have got a big array, and 2 bytes of which I need to write to another 16 bits variable.
