#fuses WDT won't change wdt for MPLAB

#fuses hs works ok, but #fuses wdt has no effect on the wdt configuration bit set by MPLAB. Likewise with brownout, power up timer. Why? I'm using a pic 16f87a and a CCS PCM compiler.

All you need is:

#fuses hs, wdt, brownout, put

That should change all configuration bits when you import it into MPLAB

One possibility, would be the setting in MPLAB, under 'configure', 'settings', 'Program loading'. There is an option here, that will clear the configuration bits whenever a program is loaded, and this will override the fuses from CCS.

Best Wishes

If you are using the ICD then WDT is not allowed and MPLAB will turn it off.

Tried #fuses noput. Likewise that didn't work, with the programmer set to picstart and load config bits on prog loading disabled. Which file shows the state of the config bits?
