Hi i was wondering how you cold record one speech message onto a PIC 16F84 Microcontroller and then play it if there is no button bressed down and to stop it you had to press down the button.
and if someone could tell me a website that could show me or just give me a step in the right direction.

Use a dedicated IC like: ISD 1416P

ISD 1416P (16 sec, sample rate 8kHz) is a voice EEPROM recorder

i recommend ISD 2500 series:)

easy control, ISD25120 have 120 seconds, it is long enough for you to store 10 messege:)
