12F675 Analog Comparator Lowest Voltage Compare
PostPosted: Sun Jun 06, 2004 8:28 am     Reply with quote

I am hoping someone can enlighten me.

What is the lowest voltage I can compare reliably with PIC12F675 analog comparator with internal and external Vref?

The information in datasheet (Table 12.6 and 12-7) seem to be too new to me and find it hard to understand.

TIA,

In theory, you should be able to measure the voltage for 1 step
above ground. With a 5v reference ( using the internal reference,
when the PIC is running at 5v), one step will be approximately 5 mv.
