Hi,

I am using a PIC16F876. Pin B1 and B2 are being used for RS232. Can I still use the input_b() function or is that a bad idea. I have a rotary switch connected to Pins B3 through B7 and I would rather not check each pin individually. Thanks for the input.

It should be ok to use that function. In a software I2C, the pins are normal IO pins.
