Several Vdd pins; how many tantalums needed?

I'm about to use a 64-pin PIC, which has something like 4 different VDD pins.

I assume I need a .1uF monolithic cap to ground as close as possible to each vdd pin. How about the recommended tantalum capacitor? Do i need 4 of these as well?

Normally, you put one ceramic capacitor on each Vdd pin
of each chip on your board. A typical value is 0.1 uF (also
called 100 nF).

You put a single tantalum capacitor on the output of your
voltage regulator. The value might be as little as 10 uF.
It depends on the amount of current used. The data sheet for
the voltage regulator might also specify a minimum value.
