older PCM and MPLAB
PostPosted: Fri Apr 30, 2004 2:50 am     Reply with quote

I have PCM version 2.66. Does anyone know if this works with MPLAB6.40? I have installed the patch for MPLAB6.x but get various errors like the compiler not being recognised or installed. I have had this version working with MPLAB 4.12 up till now.

I'm not sure if PCM2.66 works with MPLAB6.x or not, but do you still have MPLAB4.12 isntalled? I remember earlier versions of PCM only registered themselves with the 'first' MPLAB they found.

Hi,

did you try this?

-> project -> select language toolsuite -> choose ccs
and then search for the file.
i.e. c:\program\picc\ccsc.exe

Just got a reply from CCS help desk. They say that MPLAB6 does not work with PCM earlier than 3.16. Oh well...
