Setting up PCM and PCH with MPLABX-How?
PostPosted: Fri Apr 07, 2023 11:40 am     Reply with quote

I have PCM already running fine on MPLABX 6.05 under windows 10. I've just bought a copy of PCH and I need to get the MPLABX plugin sorted out so that PCM AND PCH both appear in MPLABX. Has anyone else got a similar setup and if so do you have any tips? CCS has sent me a link on how to set up the plugin, but I think it only applies to setting up ONE command line compiler. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

David.

Provided the compilers are installed together into the same directory,
MPLAB doesn't care which sub components you have. Understand you
call ccsc, and which chips you can compile 'for' then depends on
whether you have the PCB, PCM, PCH or PCD components. You can
add PCH to an existing PCM setup, and MPLAB merrily uses it. Very Happy
