PIC18F57Q84 periph interrupt defs |

I am using compiler v5.109 and targeting the PIC18F57Q84.
I want to hook a timer interrupt but the device header file contains no defines for peripheral interrupts. It contains IOC defines, GLOBAL and PERIPH. Is the info missing or am I missing something? Thanks! |

I tried that already and neither the Q43 or Q83 defines work for INT_TIMER4. I will email CCS. Thanks! |

Timer4 defines are not likely to work, since it doesn't have a timer4.
Only T0, T1 & T2.
However You can see what has happened if you read the data sheet. Unlike
every other PIC, that has a section on the interrupts, the sheet does not
have this section!..
MicroChip seem to have omitted this, and the CCS authors, worked from
the data sheet, so left it out!. There is a section on the IOC, which is why
this is there. They also left in the sections for higher timer number setups,
where these don't exist on the chip...
Try a basic simple setup, with Timer0, and add in the define for INT_TIMER0
from the 47Q43. On the MPLAB simulator, this does then work (no guarantee
it will for real). |
