How to generate .coff file in ccs c ?

Hello i wanted to know How to generate .coff file in ccs c ?

IDE or command line?.

IDE.
Options.
Project options.
Left hand column - tick box for coff.

Command line
Add -DF to your command line.

File is .cof, not .coff, but it is a coff file.

It is normally enabled by default.

There is a serial monitor. But how can i use it??

You need to have the extra pin connected to do this (B3). Look at the connection details here:

Then as has already been mentioned in a thread yesterday, you have to setup a debug print port, and print to it:
