Mach X - Placement of 12F IC
PostPosted: Tue Feb 24, 2015 1:37 am     Reply with quote

Hi All,

I would like to program the PIC12F675 8 pin IC.
How and where to place in the Mach-X 40 PIN Socket.

Is there a manual or help file showing the placement.

Thanks and Regards,
Jay.

If it's like the PICStart-Plus I have, pin one of the PIC always mates with pin one of the programmer, # of pins doesn't matter (8, 18 or 40).
That info should be in the manual though....

I'd contact CCS tech support. I looked at the online info and it should support it as it's in the list of supported devices.

This forum is more about actual C code, not physically programming the PICs, though others who use Mach-X may reply, CCS tech support is who I'd email ASAP!

It certainly does program with pin1=pin1 in the Mach-X.
Make sure you have current firmware in the Mach-X, and the current software.

Thanks Ttelmah,

It worked after updating both the loader and the firmware.

Thanks,
Jay.
