Wizard TCP/IP MRF24WG0M for PIC18F, design/code questions
PostPosted: Tue Feb 04, 2014 11:55 am     Reply with quote

MRF24WG0M appears to be a older version, are all of the MRF24W... family of parts compatible with the generated code from the Wizard?

Does anyone have a footprint for Altium Designer (preferably with a Step file included) of the MRF24Wxxx ?

Has anyone used one of these modules with the wizard? If so how has it worked out? Confused

The wizard will not generate code to drive this part.
You need a hand crafted driver, of serious complexity,
and the protocol stack, not to mention higher level
TCP/IP socket handlers.

This is all beyond the scope of the wizard by about a light_year++

I might add that i doubt you will find any free CCS compatible code that is
remotely worth copying on line either.
Best of luck, as you write that driver.
